Healthy Living for your Brain and Body: 11 a.m. Thursday, June 23: A free in-person program at Palisades Free Library, 19 Closter Road, Palisades. Get information from the latest research on diet, nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. Receive hands-on tools to develop a plan for healthy aging.

Managing Money: A Caregiver's Guide to Finances: 11 a.m. to noon Monday, June 27. A free virtual program. If you or someone you know is facing Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or another chronic illness, it’s never too early to put financial plans in place. Join us to learn tips for managing someone else’s finances, how to prepare for future care costs and the benefits of early planning.

Living with Alzheimer's: For Middle-Stage Caregivers (Part 3): 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 27. Part three of a free three-part virtual program with strategies on how to provide safe, effective and comfortable care in the middle stage of Alzheimer's.

Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia: 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 27. A free virtual event in partnership with Wallkill Public Library. Learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s, risk factors, disease stages, research, treatments and Alzheimer’s Association resources. Managing Money: A Caregiver's Guide to Finances: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 29: A free virtual program in partnership with Bronxville Public Library featuring special guest Moira S. Laidlaw, Esq., who will talk about options for covering long-term care costs, especially care at home, which allows for aging in place. She will also address how to protect your home and savings from devastating home-care and nursing home costs.

Effective Communication Strategies: Noon, Friday, June 29: A free virtual program. Learn how communication changes when someone has dementia and get strategies to effectively connect at all stages of the disease.
