10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer's: 6-7 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20. A free in-person program at Pawling Library, 11 Broad St., Pawling. Learn about 10 common warning signs and what to watch for in yourself and others, typical age-related changes, how to approach someone about memory concerns, early detection, the benefits of a diagnosis, the diagnostic process and Alzheimer’s Association resources. Something for Alz: Musical Moments: 10:30-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. A free virtual interactive musical program with music therapist Jeffrey Friedberg.

Understanding Alzheimer's and Dementia: 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 21. A free in-person program with Pine Bush Library, 223-227 Maple Ave., Pine Bush. Learn about the impact of Alzheimer’s, the difference between dementia and Alzheimer’s, risk factors, disease stages, research, treatments and Alzheimer’s Association resources. Learn about 10 common warning signs and what to watch for in yourself and others, typical age-related changes, how to approach someone about memory concerns, early detection, the benefits of a diagnosis, the diagnostic process and Alzheimer’s Association resources. 

Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27: A free in-person event at the Town of Ossining Senior Center, 95 Broadway, Ossining. Learn about the latest research on diet, nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement. Get hands-on tools to develop a plan for healthy aging.

ALZ Across NY: Tour the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center at Vassar College: 1-2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. A free virtual tour of the museum. Pre-registration and pre-screening are required to participate.

The Latest in Alzheimer's and Dementia Research: 7-8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27. A free in-person event at Katonah Village Library, 26 Bedford Road, Katonah. Featuring Research Champion Meg Boyce, Vice President of Programs and Services for the Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley Chapter.

Dementia Conversations: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 28. A free in-person event at Cornell Cooperative Extension Sullivan County, 64 Ferndale-Loomis Road, Liberty. Get helpful tips on how to handle difficult dementia-related conversations such as going to the doctor to get a diagnosis, when to stop driving and planning for the future.
