Support group for LGBTQ Alzheimer’s or Dementia caregivers
Build a support system with people who understand.
Alzheimer's Association® caregiver support groups, conducted by trained facilitators, are a safe place for caregivers, family and friends of persons with dementia to:
- Develop a support system.
- Exchange practical information
- on caregiving challenges and possible solutions.
- Talk through issues and ways of coping.
- Share feelings, needs and concerns.
- Learn about community resources.
The Alzheimer's Association offers the following LGBTQ Support Groups Nationwide:
- First Wednesday of the Month - 8 p.m. CDT
- Second Thursday of the Month - 11 a.m. CDT
- Every Other Friday - 11 a.m. CDT

AlzConnected Online Community: LGBTQ Community Allies Forum
AlzConnected members can connect and communicate with people who understand their unique challenges. Members can pose questions to the community, create public and private groups organized around a dedicated topic, and contribute to message boards.
