The Alzheimer’s Association counts on 35,000 volunteers nationwide to help fulfill our mission. Please consider joining us to help support the families in Illinois who are currently dealing with Alzheimer’s disease.

Whether you have one hour to spend with us or a few hours each week, we can find the right fit for your interest and skills. Volunteer & Internship opportunities are available at each of our six offices and, in some cases; you may be able to volunteer from the comfort of your own home.

We currently have the following volunteer opportunities available:

  • 24/7 Helpline
  • Alzheimer’s Association
    Community Representatives
  • Advocacy
  • ALZ Stars
  • Forget Me Not Days
  • General Office
  • Illinois Action Summit
  • Junior Board
  • Support Group Facilitator
  • Special Event/Day of Event
  • Special Event Committee
  • Walk to End Alzheimer’s
  • Veterans Advisory Committee

In order to become a volunteer at the Alzheimer's Association, Greater Illinois Chapter, we request that volunteers create a profile. This will help to inform us of your volunteer interests and availability. At the Chapter, we strive to make your volunteer experience the most rewarding. If you have a specific skill or if you are bilingual, we will work with you to determine the best volunteer position within our organization. Please click on the link below to complete our online application and learn more about each of our volunteer opportunities. We look forward to speaking with you in the near future.
