6th Annual Reason to Hope Luncheon
Tuesday, April 16, 2019
Cedar Rapids Marriott
Doors Open:  11:30 a.m.
Program Begins: 12:00 p.m.

The Reason to Hope luncheon is an inspirational event that increases public awareness of Alzheimer's disease while focusing on the crucial work of the Alzheimer's Association and its impact on families in our local community.  Greg Woods, Research Champion for the Alzheimer's Association, will present the keynote presentation on the latest in Alzheimer's disease research.  He will be joined by Dr. Chooza Moon, an Alzheimer's Association funded researcher at the University of Iowa.  Dr. Moon will share specifically how her study examines how sleep and lifestyle risk factors contribute to brain health.  Audience members will also hear a local caregiver's testimony and will have the opportunity to make a financial contribution to provide a reason to hope for individuals impacted by the disease.
