The Longest Day
Text Size controlsNormal font sizeMedium font sizeLarge font size

The Longest Day is a day that's all about love. Love for those affected by Alzheimer's disease. On the Longest Day, June 21, 2018, people across the world will do what they love, or what those affected by the disease love to do. Together, we will raise funds and awareness for care and support while advancing research toward the first survivor of Alzheimer's.

What will you do to fight Alzheimer's?

How to get started...

  • Choose an activity (gardening, softball, bridge, dancing, boating, hiking, playing music, etc.).
  • Start fundraising - the Association staff can help with tools, tips, and advice.
  • On The Longest Day, share your photos, stories, and fundraising successes on social media by using the hashtags #TheLongestDay and #ENDALZ.
  • If you have a conflict with participating on June 21 (the summer solstice - longest day of the year), choose a day or series of days that works for.

Some teams go simple with a Jeans Day at work. Others do something from sunrise to sunset! Each team raises money and awareness for The Longest Day and do so in honor of all those experiencing a longest day, every day.
