Let's learn a little about Erin...

How long have you been involved with the Alzheimer's Association and what was your reason for getting involved?
I have been involved for a little over a year. Unfortunately I lost my grandfather to Alzheimer's. He battled the disease for 8 years. This is a way I can give back and hopefully advance a cure.
How are you involved with the Alzheimer's Association?
I have been a member of The Longest Day committee, volunteered at Walk to End Alzheimer's and I am now on the Young Ambassadors Leadership Team and the Young Ambassadors Walk Team.
Where are you employed?
I am a Senior Customer Success Manager at Oracle.
What is your hidden talent?
I'm not sure if it is a hidden talent, but I am a great planner.
What is the best advice you have ever received?
You cannot help people who do not want to help themselves.
What book/movie/show are you recommending to others?
"Maybe You Should Talk to Someone," by Lori Gottlieb
What are you most passionate about in life?
Creating a happy, full life.
What is your motto?
You can handle anything that comes your way.
What is a positive thing that has happened to you since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic?
So many things come to mind. I got engaged, financially got my footing, took up reading and joined a book club.
Who is someone you look up to as a role model and why?
The amazing, passionate, brave women who go after what they want, even if it scares them - they all inspire me.
What do you consider your greatest achievement so far in your life?
Running a half marathon.
