Keynote Speaker

Robin McIntyre has a passion for the well-being of others. After finding out that she carries the genetic mutation for younger- onset Alzheimer’s disease, Robin decided to press forward by helping others. She volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association by participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s,
advocating for more research funding, enrolling in clinical trials and speaking at events. Robin and her family are the subject of a new book,
The Inheritance, which tells the story of her family on the front lines of their battle against younger-onset Alzheimer's disease. The disease has stricken most of her family members, including her mother.

Born in Nebraska in 1983 and raised in Wyoming, Robin studied at the University of Wyoming and Boise State University and went on to work in Chiropractic care before switching gears to become a hairdresser. She landed in Colorado for a time but returned to Wyoming to care for her mother. Robin enjoys Wyoming sunsets, traveling, whitewater rafting and new adventures. She also enjoys camping, crafting, boating and playing cribbage.
