Learn about the benefits of meditation and self-care for stress reduction and relaxation, including the importance of putting yourself first and how to release the guilt around doing so. Learn some simple techniques to bring your mind, body and spirit back into balance for better health and wellness and how you can meditate anytime, anywhere for maximum benefit. You will also have a chance to learn about what the Alzheimer's Association offers and how to connect to the many resources available.

The warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease are often dismissed as side effects of normal aging. If you or someone you know is experiencing memory loss or behavioral changes, it’s time to learn the facts. Early detection gives you a chance to begin drug therapy, enroll in clinical studies and plan for the future. Attend this training to learn the 10 Warning Signs of Alzheimer’s disease. We’ll separate myth from reality and address commonly-held fears about Alzheimer’s in America.

LIVING WELL: A PANEL OF PEOPLE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA

This presentation will highlight what it is like to live with Alzheimer's disease and other dementia. Panelists will discuss coping with a diagnosis and combating the stigma associated with the disease. They will also talk about the importance of disease education, social engagement, and having a voice in your own care.
