Dates and Times

What is the date for the Virtual New England Conference for Dementia Care Professionals?

The full day conference will be offered May 2, 2024.

When does registration begin?

Registration opens March 11, 2024.

When does registration end?

Registration is open right up to the start of the conference.

What time zone will be used for the virtual conference sessions?

All sessions will be offered at Eastern Time (EDT).

Pricing and Payment

What is the cost for the conference?

The early discounted rate is $110 (ends April 8, 2024 at 5:00 pm EDT).
The regular rate is $125 (from April 9, 2024 until the conference).

Discounted rate of $50 for active students. You must be able to show proof of student enrollment by sharing a copy of your student ID or student email address. To receive the student discount code email Stacy Chavis at schavis@alz.org

*Registration fee includes a CEU certificate for each session for those who are eligible. To learn more visit the CE page. A recording of each session is included.

Can I pay by check to register?

We are only able to take credit card payments. If you have questions contact Lorraine Kermond at lkermond@alz.org.

When does the early discount rate end?

The early discount rate of $110 ends April 8, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. EDT.

Do you provide a refund if I cannot attend?

A refund or transfer of registration can be provided at least two weeks prior to the conference. We do not offer refunds or transfers of registration within two weeks of the conference.

Sessions and Technology

Will I need to download or install any software to attend this virtual conference?

If you are using a computer you will just need the internet and a web browser to access our conference on Zoom. If you are using a phone or a tablet, you will need to download the Zoom app from the App Store or Google Play Store.

Can I call in to listen to the sessions?

Attendance is tracked through Zoom when you log into each session. In order to qualify for CE certificates, you must log into Zoom and attend the entire keynote, closing and/or any of the tracks. Call in is not an option.

Will sessions be recorded and archived for later review?

Registrants will receive a taped recording of each session post conference. CEU certificates are only available to those attendees who watch the session live. Certificates are not available for taped sessions.

Do I have to stay in one track for the entire conference?

Registrants will have three options to choose from for the morning and for the afternoon presentations and do not need to stay in one track.

Will attendees be able to ask questions or participate in the session?

Yes! Attendees will be able to utilize Zoom's Q&A function to ask questions and will also be able to participate in polls.

What happens if I have technical issues during the conference?

If you have technical issues during the conference please email NEprofessionalconftech@alz.org.

Continuing Education

How do I receive CE credits for attending the conference?

Applications will be submitted for social work, nursing and activity professional CEs in February 2024. 

You will receive a CE certificate for each session you attend. Attendees must provide their full name in Zoom (to verify attendance), must successfully complete a post test and evaluation, and must attend the entire duration of each session. To learn more, visit our CE page.

Certificates will be emailed to participants within 30 days of the conference.

Sponsoring and Exhibiting

Will there be an exhibitor hall?

Our virtual exhibit hall prominently displays our sponsors with individual informational pages. Sponsors will provide key information to attendees such as current employee benefits, open positions and their core business descriptions. Presenting and Platinum Sponsors will also have the opportunity to host virtual “office hours” where they will have a chance to network directly with attendees.

Are there any special benefits for signing up as a sponsor early?
