December 21st is the winter solstice, the longest night of the year. On this night we will shine our lights together to diminish the darkness and illuminate a path towards a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementias.

We encourage you to write names of loved ones, memories and messages of hope on the bags and place them on your front steps or in your windows on December 21st, the winter solstice and the longest night of the year.

Together our lights create a beacon of hope for all those currently on this journey and send a message that no walks this path alone.

LUMINARY WALK OF HOPE: December 18, 2023, 7:00-8:00 PM Emery Park in Depot Square, Lexington MA

As we prepare for the Winter Solstice, we invite you to join us for a luminary lighting for the first survivor. Enjoy a musical performance and hot chocolate bar as we honor those living with dementia as well their caregivers, and remember all of those we have lost. This is a FREE outdoor event, all are welcome! Please let us know if you plan to join us so we can plan accordingly! We look forward to seeing you! Be sure to dress warmly!!

VIRTUAL LUMINARY LIGHTING: December 21, 2023 7:00-7:30pm

If you can not attend in person on the 18th, please join us for a virtual gathering on the actual longest night, December 21st from 7-7:30pm. Make yourself a cup of hot cocoa and join us on Zoom for a virtual luminary lighting and musical performance to honor and remember all those on this journey. SHINE A BRIGHTER LIGHT BY CREATING A VIRTUAL LUMINARY

This interactive experience allows you to virtually light a luminary when you fundraise! Honor a family member or friend by adding their name to your luminary, then watch it glow as donations are received.
