Massachusetts Senior Care Association: The Massachusetts Senior Care Association represents a diverse set of organizations that deliver a broad spectrum of services to meet the needs of older adults and people with disabilities.  

Members include more than 500 nursing and rehabilitation facilities, assisted living residences, residential care facilities and continuing care retirement communities.  

Alzheimer Research Forum: An online resource center and virtual communities offering professionals and the technically-minded general public access to research news written by Forum staff; a searchable annotated index of thousands of scientific papers. 

Alzheimer's Disease Education and Referral Center (ADEAR): Hosted by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), ADEAR offers information about Alzheimer research, treatment and care, news and electronic versions of NIA publications.  It provides an opportunity to sign up for electronic alerts on breaking news and new publications. 

Medline Plus: Hosted by the National Library of Medicine, this site offers links to numerous government agencies and nonprofit organizations (including the Alzheimer's Association) that have prepared overviews of the disease, carries resources on symptoms, diagnosis and disease management. 

Mayo Clinic: The Mayo Clinic's AD pages are excellent. You can watch videos about what having an MRI involves and find information about many other issues. They also have lots of information on related dementias. 

Johns Hopkins Health Alerts: The Johns Hopkins Health Alert website offers regularly updated articles on a variety of Alzheimer topics - very practical and informative. 

The Alzheimer's Store: The Alzheimer's Store offers products and gadgets you may not know even exist, for those caring for someone with Alzheimer's disease. 

Administration on Aging (AoA) Home Page: Provides information about AoA and its programs, as well as information for older persons and their families, practitioners and other professionals, the aging network, and researchers and students. 

Dementia Research Centre - UK: This site offers information, advice, education, research findings and support for patients, caregivers and professionals. The page is supported by The Dementia Research Group, CANDID (Counseling and Diagnosis in Dementia), at The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, The Institute of Neurology and Imperial College School of Medicine at St. Mary's in the UK.
