Our vision is a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.
Who We Are
Young ProfessionALZ is a group of civic-minded individuals (21 - 45 years of age) who have a personal connection and/or support our vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. We are volunteer leaders who take action through fundraising activities including the Walk to End Alzheimer’s, promote education programs, and support advocacy initiatives all while helping to raise awareness of Alzheimer’s and related dementias among young professionals in our community.
- Develop strong leadership and philanthropic skills.
- Opportunity to network and gain leadership development through committee positions.
- Volunteer at other Association events, attend Association-hosted symposiums, participate in advocacy events, and support initiatives that help the Alzheimer’s community (Alzheimer’s Partnership and Dementia Friendly).
Get Involved
Involvement in Young ProfessionALZ can range from serving on the committee to volunteering a few times a year when available -
your level of commitment is up to you!
The group regularly meets virtually and in person to discuss ongoing initiatives and Association updates. We encourage our members to attend our group meetings, join the YP Walk Team or lead your own team, participate in Association events and steward the Young ProfessionALZ vision.
