Young Champions

A diverse group of emerging leaders dedicated to changing the face of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias by engaging their peers and raising awareness across generations. Learn more.
 

Volunteer Opportunities

Administrative Assistant

Provide assistance to personnel managing administrative projects related to operations, development, programs, marketing and outreach.


Special Event – Day of Volunteer

Assist with registering, greeting and ushering participants and decorating the event venue.


Development Committee Member (Walk to End Alzheimer’s, The Longest Day & The Purple Gala)

Coordinate logistics, recruit new guests and sponsors, market the event, seek refreshments and prizes, plan entertainment and help ensure the event reaches fundraising goals.


Advocacy Assistant

Help organize letter-writing campaigns, speak to legislators and phone interested individuals.


Community Educator

Help the Alzheimer's Association provide consumer education. Deliver prepared presentations on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.


Virtual Community Representative

Raise awareness of our programs, provide basic information, and link consumers to services. Liaise between the Association and local business, civic or faith groups.


Program Tech Support

Assist Alzheimer's Association staff and volunteers deliver education programs and support groups through virtual platforms.


Support Group Facilitator

Create a safe, open environment where people share their feelings, thoughts and experiences and offer individuals support and information that is specific to dementia.


Internship

A variety of seasonal internship positions are available during regular business hours, from 10 - 20 hours per week.


Group Volunteer Project

Assemble Memory Care Kits, Provider Tool Kits, Walk to End Alzheimer’s Team Captain Touchpoints or Volunteer Appreciation Cards.
