The Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter is dedicated to advancing the care, support, and research to all those affected by Alzheimer's in Mississippi. We offer local support groups, community education, advocacy efforts, and fundraising events throughout the state for anyone looking to become involved.

Education Programs

Being a caregiver doesn't come with an instruction manual, but there are resources available to help. Use the free trainings and workshops on this page to gain caregiving skills and practical advice. Courses are also avaiable in Spanish.  These courses can also be presented live virtually or in person.  Email KriDavis@alz.org with any speaker requests.

Purple Sundays

The Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting ‘Purple Sunday’ events at churches across the state to help spread awareness and education around Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia. Please join us by contacting Kristen White at KriDavis@alz.org to host a Purple Sunday Event in your community.

Caregiver Resources

Our free 24/7 Helpline (800.272.3900), staffed by master’s-level clinicians and specialists, provides confidential support and information to all those affected in over 200 languages.

We host ALZConnected® , an online community where people with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers can ask questions and find support.

Community Resource Finder, a comprehensive database of programs and services, housing and care services, and legal experts, allows people to locate resources in their communities.

ALZNavigator™ whether you’re living with memory loss, or you care for someone who is, answer a few questions about your situation and ALZNavigator™, an interactive online tool, will guide you to your next steps.
