The Alzheimer's Association Mississippi Chapter is dedicated to advancing the care, support, and research to all those affected by Alzheimer's in Mississippi. We offer local support groups, community education, advocacy efforts, and fundraising events throughout the state for anyone looking to become involved.
Education Programs
Being a caregiver doesn't come with an instruction manual, but there are resources available to help. Use the free trainings and workshops on
this page to gain caregiving skills and practical advice. Courses are also avaiable in Spanish. These courses can also be presented live virtually or in person. Email KriDavis@alz.org with any speaker requests.

The Alzheimer’s Association will be hosting ‘Purple Sunday’ events at churches across the state to help spread awareness and education around Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementia. Please join us by contacting Kristen White at KriDavis@alz.org to host a Purple Sunday Event in your community.
