National Gallery of Art
This program provides interactive, discussion-based experiences in the galleries for people with early-stage dementia and their caregivers. Participants explore two or three works of art during each 90-minute program. The theme changes for every session, so come often. The initial sessions of a four-month pilot phase will take place the first and third Mondays of the month. Space is limited and registration is required. Register through July only. Ingleside Engaged:  A social day club serving persons with early and mid-stage dementia.
Limited to no more 10 participants per day. Staff providing services include a licensed Geriatric Nursing Assistant and Certified Dementia Practitioner to lead programs while assisting members through the day as most helpful.
