Local students approached the Alzheimer's Association National Capital Area Chapter looking for ways to bring a club to their school. With their help, our Youth Initiative effort was launched. Their goal is to bring together students interested in learning more about Alzheimer's disease and other dementias and the Alzheimer's Association and to provide education, inspiration, volunteer opportunities and support to students with the hope that one of these students may be the person who finds a cure for this disease.
