Area Agencies on Aging (AAA)

Lifespan Respite Subsidy Program 

The Lifespan Respite Subsidy program pays for respite care services to give a primary caregiver a temporary break. Visit the Nebraska Resource and Referral System website or call 1.866.RESPITE to learn more about the program.

Disabled Persons and Family Support Program

The Disabled Persons and Family Support program provides monthly funding for services to individuals with disabilities to help them continue to live independently or to help families stay together. Visit the Home and Community Services website or call 402.471.9220.

Aged and Disabled Waiver

The Aged and Disabled Waiver is a program that offers an array of services to support people in their homes. Program requirements and the application can be found on the Home and Community Services website and questions can also be answered via phone at 800.358.8802.

Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) Program

The PACE program provides comprehensive, coordinated health care and long-term care services and supports to voluntarily-enrolled individuals to enable participants to continue living in their homes and communities. Program requirements and approved providers can be found on the Home and Community Services website.

Social Services for Aged and Disabled Adults (SSAD) Program

The SSAD program provides needed services such as chore assistance, adult day services, home-delivered meals, and transportation to low-income persons who are living with disabilities.
