Have you or your loved one been recently diagnosed with early-stage dementia? The Nebraska Chapter offers specialized early-stage services, including care consultation, early-stage support groups, early-stage social engagement activities, and safety services for you and your family.

Care Consultations

Receive support from Master’s level health professionals through our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.

Early-Stage Support Groups

Early-stage support groups provide a safe and supportive environment of peers who are living in the early stages of Alzheimer's disease or related dementia and their care partners. These groups offer dementia-related education, emotional support and connections with resources so group members may enhance their lives in the midst of the disease.

Early-Stage Support Groups feature the following:

  • Five to six sessions
  • Each session is 1.5 hours long
  • Held in the spring, summer and fall
  • Offered online until further notice

Contact Diane Hendricks at 800.272.3900 for more information about registering for an upcoming early-stage support group.

Early-Stage Social Engagement

The Early-Stage Social Engagement program offers a fun and comfortable way for people living in the early stage of Alzheimer's or other dementia to get active and get connected with one another through a variety of social events and community-based activities online.
