Megadeth singer Dave Mustaine and his daughter Electra are spending their time in quarantine doing something good.
The dynamic duo posted a video of their jam session on the Beatles‘ “Come Together” from what looks like a home studio on Wednesday (March 25) for a good cause.
Mustaine, wearing a black face mask and matching wool cap — the singer recently revealed that he got a clean bill of health after being diagnosed with throat cancer last year — sits next to his daughter on a couch as she belts the tune over his distorted electric guitar strumming. “”Come together! Right now… QUARANTINE! Here’s a lil’ #MyMusicMoment with my dad, @davemustaine, someone who I’d never want to lose! THAT is why the Mustaine’s stay home,” she wrote. “We hope you do too! Wash your hands, practice social distancing, & stay healthy.”
Their performance was part of the Music Moments campaign from the Alzheimer’s Association, which has brought together 10 acts for a collection of new and unreleased tracks that honor the “personal, emotional connection between music and the most important moments in life that we never want to lose.”
