On Friday, May 8, 2015, the Alzheimer’s Association held the Memories Should Last a Lifetime benefit gala at the exquisite Pleasantdale Château, in the historic Eagle Rock Preserve in West Orange, New Jersey. This unique event celebrates life, memories, and hope for the future in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
The benefit helps us raise vital funds for medical and scientific research and local care and support programs for New Jersey Alzheimer’s disease individuals and their families.

|Memories Should Last a Lifetime was chaired by Greater New Jersey Chapter board member James Formisano and CBS 2's John Elliott (pictured above) served as master of ceremonies. The evening was an exciting and inspiring one, starting with "red carpet" photos of all guests as they arrived. Guests then enjoyed mingling amidst the elegant atmosphere, dancing to the music of The Infernos Band, listening to the sounds of the all-female a cappella group, The Princeton University Wildcats and partaking in the silent auction. A particularly inspiring part of the evening was the presentation of the Circle of Honor Awards, which are the Chapter’s most prestigious awards and are presented annually by the Board of Directors at the gala. The recipients were Investors Bank for Corporation of the Year, and Carol Bucca for Volunteer of the Year.|
