Community Educators

Community Educators assist with education & outreach programs as well as provide support to families living with Dementia.  They deliver education programs developed by the Alzheimer’s Association on topics are related to Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, using scripted curricula, PowerPoint presentations and other prepared training materials provided by the Association.  Without these dedicated volunteers, we could not present 300+ programs yearly. See some of the education programs that are available

This site is to provide current educators the tools they need to provide presentations.

To get involved as a Community Educator, check out the Community Educator Position Description and fill out the Volunteer Interest Profile; mark Community Education on the form.

If you have any questions regarding volunteer opportunities,
contact Luanne Kirkland at lkirkland@alz.org.
