Awareness Teams play a vital role in bringing awareness & education by taking the message of Alzheimer’s out into their community through mediums depending on the team member’s interests, strengths and connections.  The Community Team Director coordinates which areas their team will address.

Teams can man health fair booths, take Alzheimer's literature out into the community, visit doctors' offices, provide education programs, work on Advocacy initiatives, and/or assist with fundraising through the Walk to End Alzheimer's and Do It Yourself fundraising.

To get involved with or to start a team, fill out the Volunteer Interest Profile, mark Awareness Team on the form.
