"Tips and Tools for Successful
Dementia Care"
with Heather McKay

The seminar will help participants recognize behaviors that accompany dementia related conditions and discuss the key reasons why emotional distress is common among people living with dementia. Participants will learn to focus on the level of ability of their loved one instead of what has been lost.
Heather McKay is an occupational therapist and dementia care specialist, consultant, and international speaker  who provides training for professional and family caregivers, services to individuals with aging issues, and consultation with facilities on topics related to dementia and Alzheimer's care.
