About Walk to End Alzheimer's™

The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s™ is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer care, support and research.  Since 1989, this all-age, all-ability walk has mobilized millions to join the fight against Alzheimer’s disease, raising more than $347 million for the cause. Events are held annually in the fall in nearly 600 communities nationwide.

The Alzheimer’s Association – North Central Texas Chapter holds eight Walk to End Alzheimer’s events every fall.  Join us in a movement to reclaim the future for millions.  Through our Walk to End Alzheimer’s in 2011, we raised over $592,000 to enhance Alzheimer care and support and advance critical research.

Incentive Prizes

Even if you have already walked, it is not too late to raise a few more funds for Walk to End Alzheimer's.  October 31st is the deadline for turning in funds to qualify for incentive prizes*.  Incentive prizes are for participants who raise $300 or more individually.  Check out this flyer for some of the great prizes for which you may qualify.  Prize certificates will be emailed out in November.

*Participants who took extra t-shirts will not receive an incentive prize certificate.  Also, matching gifts and team money do not count towards individual incentive prizes.  For more information contact Leslie Alvarez at 817.336.4949 or 800.272.3900.
