The Northeastern New York Alzheimer’s Association receives no Medicaid or Medicare reimbursements or third party insurance payments. Seventy-five percent of our 1.3 million dollar budget comes from the support provided to us by area businesses and generous individuals living in the communities we serve, with an additional 22% from foundation and government grants.

We are very proud of the fact that nationally, as well as locally, 78 cents of every dollor raised goes to support programs and services surpassing the standard of 65% set by National Charities Information Bureau.  This, along with our nationally recognized and highly effective core services, has earned us the honor of having been named a top 100 charity by Worth Magazine.
