Alzheimer's and dementia support groups

Alzheimer's Association support programs provide people with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, their caregivers, families, and others affected by the disease with the opportunity to exchange information as they develop methods and skills to solve problems.

Caregiver support groups provide a safe space where anyone affected by Alzheimer s can talk through issues and coping strategies, share feelings, and cultivate support systems and social relationships while learning about community resources. Caregiver support groups at the Alzheimer’s Association are a safe place for family and friends of someone with dementia. They offer an opportunity to develop a support system, exchange practical information on caregiving, learn about resources and talk through issues and ways of coping.

Pre-registration is required for all support groups by calling our 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.

All groups are held at the Alzheimer's Association - NYC Chapter offices at 60 East 42nd Street, New York , NY 10165, unless otherwise noted.
