2015 Memories in the Making Art Auction & Gala

5:30 p.m.
April 30, 2015
The Sentinel Hotel in Downtown Portland
614 SW 11th Ave.
Portland, OR 97205

Join us for a benefit dinner, live auction and silent auction highlighting our Memories in the Making art program

We had hoped for 200 attendees to the event, but we are currently at 250 and counting! The evening includes a silent auction with more than 50 pieces of professionally framed, one-of-a-kind watercolor artwork, a wine wall and other exciting auction items and baskets. Live auction items include trips to Disneyland, four different getaways to various Oregon Coast locations, a Cabo San Lucas getaway and a special Puerto Vallarta* stay in a six-bedroom private villa.

One lucky winner of the “golden ticket” (only 100 to be sold) will have the opportunity to select his or her choice of the live auction items, *excluding the Puerto Vallarta trip.

Memories in the Making® resulted from the exploration of the use of art as an alternative form of expression for people with dementia. While Alzheimer’s disease brings constant reminders of failures and losses, Memories in the Making provides a nonjudgmental environment in which participants can express their feelings. The focus is on the process rather than the product, allowing people with dementia to experience moments of joy and a renewed sense of accomplishment and self-respect.

  • Individual ticket price: $90
  • Grand-prize raffle ticket (only 100 available): $100
  • VIP package (includes ticket to event, two raffle tickets and entry into the grand-prize drawing): $175
