Dementia Training Application

In 2017, the Oregon Legislature passed legislation, that requires enhanced dementia training standards for professional caregivers.

In response to Oregon Revised Statute 443.433 and Oregon Administrative Rule 411-054-0070 , the Alzheimer’s Association Oregon & SW Washington Chapter is designated as a dementia training approving body by Oregon’s Department of Human Services (DHS).

Submit and Application for In-Serice or Pre-Service Approval

The DHS website has a list of pre-approved, pre-service trainings including no cost options through Oregon Care Partners.
