If you have been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s or another dementia, you are not alone.
“Early stage” refers to people, irrespective of age, who are diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or another dementia and are in the beginning stages of the disease. In this stage, people retain the ability to participate in daily activities and in a give-and-take dialogue. This includes those persons with “younger onset” dementia who develop the disease under age 65.
Our early-stage programs seek to elevate the voice of those living with early-stage Alzheimer's to change public perceptions about who has the disease.
