Pure Imagination Auction

Imagine a world without Alzheimer's disease.

When: April 7, 2018
Where: Skyline at Waterplace
1 Finance Way, Providence, RI

The Alzheimer’s Association Rhode Island Chapter invites the community to attend a Pure Imagination Auction in honor of the 23,000 Rhode Islanders who are currently living with Alzheimer’s disease and their 53,000 caregivers. We are excited to announce, this year’s Willy Wonka theme to commemorate actor, Gene Wilder who passed away from complications of Alzheimer’s disease in 2016. This annual event will be celebrating its 15th year on Saturday April 7, from 7:00 to 10:30pm at a new venue; Skyline at Waterplace in Providence.

The event is a lively evening of dinner and dancing. Guests will mix and mingle while overlooking the Providence skyline and enjoying a gourmet sit-down dinner catered by Russell Morin. The evening will also include musical entertainment by The Drama Kings, a program with master of ceremony Mike Montecalvo WPRI 12 and Fox Providence news anchor, a dessert bar, an enticing auction and complimentary valet. The event is semi-formal and guests are encouraged to wear the Alzheimer’s signature color purple. Guests will have an opportunity to enter a raffle for a chance to win the “Golden Ticket.” Leading up to the event, there will be an online auction open to the general public for a trip to an exotic location!

Since its inception in 2003, the annual auction has raised close to a half- million dollars to support the Association’s programs, services, advocacy efforts and research. For questions or to purchase a ticket over the phone, contact Bella Garcia at 1.800.272.3900. RSVP by April 1, 2018.
