Alzheimer's Association's Carl V. Hill discusses caregivers of color, dementia research

How do you make a plan of action about an aging parent’s Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis with your siblings? What if your doctor knows even less than you know about the prognosis of dementia?
Those are several questions asked by more than 250 local caregivers who attended the Dr. Lemuel and Gloria Rogers Health Symposium Thursday, held by the Rochester & Finger Lakes chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.

Alzheimer's Association

The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support. Our vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.™ For more information, visit www.alz.org or call the 24/7 Helpline at 800.272.3900.
