Local agencies improve connections to resources

Here and across the country, the coronavirus pandemic has hit African American and Latino communities especially hard. For people of color already caring for loved ones who are frail and elderly or dealing with other illnesses such as dementia and Alzheimer's disease, the pandemic has added one more challenge to daily life.
The Alzheimer's Association is the world's leading voluntary health organization in Alzheimer care, support and research. Our mission is to eliminate Alzheimer's disease through the advancement of research; to provide and enhance care and support for all affected; and to reduce the risk of dementia through the promotion of brain health.
