Support Programs

Alzheimer's Association support programs provide people with Alzheimer’s, their caregivers and others affected by the disease the opportunity to exchange information as well as develop methods and skills to solve problems. Participants are also able to cultivate mutual support systems and social relationships while learning about available resources.

Monthly Telephone Caregiver Support Group

First Monday of the month, 1:00-2:30 p.m. (except for July and September when the group will meet the 2nd Monday of the month due to a holiday).

Spanish telephone support group will start on June 27 and will continue the 4th Tuesday of each month from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m.

The Alzheimer’s Association San Diego & Imperial Chapter offers a monthly telephone support group for caregivers of individuals living with Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The group is designed to provide emotional, educational and social support for caregivers. The support group also helps participants develop problem-solving skills and encourages caregivers to maintain their own health.
