A diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease or another dementia is life changing and raises a lot of questions and emotions. It can leave the person with the disease feeling isolated and unsure of where to turn for information and support.

The Alzheimer's Association wants you to know that you are not alone! Let's work together to plan, prepare, find support and live your life after diagnosis.

NEW! Memory Café - York County
The Memory Café is a gathering where people with memory loss can spend time together with their caregivers and enjoy conversation, light refreshments, and participate in social activities. *Caregivers must be present.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 4:30 PM at the Clover School District YMCA, located at 5485 Charlotte Highway in Clover.

Connections Events - Greenville County
In the Upstate, we are pleased to offer a social group is for individuals in the early stages of Alzheimer's or a related dementia or with memory impairment, along with their care partners. Please join us for this one-of-a-kind group to connect with others in your community! Along with different monthly activities, there will be information available and support as needed.

This activity is for persons in the early/mid stage of dementia and a guest. We will have a variety of puzzles to create and complete; followed by some pizza for lunch!

Please join the early/mid-stage people with dementia and a guest social engagement group for a fun morning of cuddles with some cute pups from the Lucky Pup Rescue! A special thank you to Griswold Home care for procuring this event at the Aloft Hotel. Participants will enjoy a delicious lunch provided by the Aloft Hotel.
