Volunteer are the heart of the Alzheimer's Association
Dear SC Alzheimer’s Association Volunteers,

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for all that you do! While we are grateful for you each and every day, this is YOUR week.

In celebration of National Volunteer Week, I’d like to thank each of you who have moved our mission forward with your passion and commitment.

Our collective volunteer response during the last two years has been extraordinary, and we want you to know that your efforts were recognized and are appreciated. We are so grateful for your versatility and flexibility as we’ve navigated new ways of delivering our mission.

You have risen to the challenge in every way, showing the utmost patience and commitment and standing beside us in all aspects of supporting those we serve.

While so much has changed over the last two years, one thing hasn’t: our gratitude and appreciation for our volunteer partners who have chosen to give their time and energy helping those affected by Alzheimer’s disease and all other dementia. In partnership with our staff, you have expanded our reach and deepened our impact in local communities, and provided personalized support to those impacted.

We hope your volunteer experience as an Association partner has been rewarding, enjoyable, and worthwhile. We rely on volunteers like you across all pillars of our organization: from our special events to our care and support programs and advocacy efforts. Volunteers are truly at the heart of our organization.

As we begin to offer in-person programs and activities once again, the health and safety of you, our volunteers and constituents, remains our top priority. As we have throughout the pandemic, we will continue to closely monitor CDC, state and local guidelines to manage evolving risks associated with COVID-19.

Thank you for your response to the call to serve in this uncertain time and for your unwavering support of our vision: A world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

We look forward to another year of work alongside you!
