On July 31 - August 4, over 8,000 researchers from across the globe attended the Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) in San Diego, CA. This group of some of the best and brightest minds in Alzheimer's and dementia science included 14 attendees from right here in South Carolina.
We often don't realize the important work going on right in our backyards, so we tracked down local speakers, poster presenters and other attendees so that we could share their expertise and excitement with you here in South Carolina.
It's not just about sharing knowledge; it's about sharing how you are making a difference.
Every dollar that we raise here in South Carolina funds both our support services and our vital research efforts, whether by directly funding
Alzheimer's Association International Research Grants or by helping us convene the world's leading experts through events like AAIC.
