Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month
Text Size controlsNormal font sizeMedium font sizeLarge font size

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time when we focus on spreading awareness of Alzheimer’s disease and brain health information. More than 520,000 Floridians are living with Alzheimer’s, and this number is expected to increase to 720,000 people by 2025. This June, help us stop Alzheimer’s in its tracks, and get involved with Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month.

Get Involved:

  • Visit our Official Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month website.
  • Learn the 10 warning signs of Alzheimer’s, read the 2018 facts, and prioritize your brain health.
  • Share! Share the 10 signs on social media, email our brain health tips to your friends, spread our flyer to local businesses and use Facebook frames to turn your profile picture purple. Prompt your networks to share to spread awareness!
  • Go purple at work! Turn buildings or fountains purple with light gels, ask staff to wear purple for a photo, or turn the company website/email/social media profiles purple for the month!
  • Attend an event for Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month and help us spread awareness!
