We're here for you from the beginning.

Have you or a loved one recently been diagnosed with or exhibiting signs of memory loss? The Alzheimer's Association Southeast Florida Chapter is here for you with the resources and support needed to navigate this difficult journey. We offer educational programs, support groups, and social and recreational programs. Below is a listing of our current offerings. EARLY STAGE EDUCATION PROGRAMS

BROWARD COUNTY

Living with Alzheimer's Education Series
Exclusive to newly diagnosed persons, or those in the early stage of Alzheimer's or a related dementia and their care partners/family members.
Tuesdays, March 24th, 31st and April 7th, 2015
10:30 AM - 12:00 Noon.  Light breakfast items will be provided.

MARTIN COUNTY

Living with Alzheimer's: for People with Alzheimer's

2:00 PM - 3:30 PM.

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY

There are currently no early stage programs for Miami-Dade County. Please check back on a regular basis for updates.


EARLY STAGE SUPPORT GROUPS

Disclaimer Statement: The day and time of support groups may be changed without Chapter knowledge. Please call the group’s facilitator to confirm before attending a meeting for the first time.


Telephone Support Groups

English Telephone Support Group for Younger-Onset Early Stage Individuals (Diagnosed before age 65)
Every Tuesday, 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM

PALM BEACH COUNTY

Alzheimer’s Association, West Palm Beach, FL  33406
1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, 2:00 PM – 3:30 PM

1st Wednesdays are support meetings and 3rd Wednesdays are social outings

A Time to Talk: Don’t Face This Alone
Sign up for our TIME TO TALK telephone reassurance program and connect with others who have also been recently diagnosed.
You will be assigned a mentor who will call you weekly. Your mentor will help you identify community resources, prepare for and cope with life changes, and help you build a supportive network of friends. For more information, call 800-272-3900.
