Walk to End Alzheimer's.

Sweet Memories was a signature annual fundraising event. It was hosted by the Alzheimer's Association Southeastern Virginia Chapter to increase awareness about Alzheimer's disease, communicate the latest developments in research, and to raise funds to provide the programs and services that are critical to families coping with the daily challenges of Alzheimer's disease. The inaugural brunch was held in May 2009 and was a collaborative effort between the Alzheimer's Association and the Hospice Alliance. The event brought together supporters of both organizations, local political leaders, and other prominent members of the community, in an elegant atmosphere featuring a champagne brunch, music, live, and silent auction.
