The Alzheimer’s Association Interdisciplinary Summer Research Institute (AA-ISRI) is an immersive, no-cost opportunity for early career researchers in psychosocial care and public health to launch a career in dementia science and accelerate breakthroughs in the field. During the five-day program, experts will offer diverse perspectives on groundbreaking research through group sessions and individual mentoring. Twenty-four applicants will be selected for this exclusive experience.
Gain knowledge of basic clinical and biological aspects of Alzheimer’s and dementia
Make connections with leaders and peers in the field
Develop a draft research proposal for Association and/or NIH funding
Our AA-ISRI faculty members are accomplished and influential leaders in the psychosocial and public health fields.
Applications for AA-ISRI are now closed. Notification emails will be sent in early May 2021.
AA-ISRI is currently planned for in-person, but we will monitor the state of COVID-19 as safety is our first priority.
