Do you want to invest your time and talents into the fight against Alzheimer's disease? Join one of our Walk to End Alzheimer's Planning Committees! Each year, we host the Walk to End Alzheimer's in communities across the state. Leaders on our volunteer planning committees play vital roles in making these events a success and in advancing the fight to end Alzheimer's disease.
No matter what your interests or schedule, we have a role for you.
Opportunities include:
- Walk Leadership: Are you a natural leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills? Consider serving as Chair or Co-Chair of your local walk! You will oversee and guide the rest of the Planning Committee with help from a Staff Partner.
- Team Recruitment and Retention: Do you have strong connections to companies and business influencers in your community? Our Team Recruitment and Retention Subcommittee works to get more people involved in the fight against Alzheimer's and to keep them engaged in our mission all year.
- Sponsorship: Are you a relationship builder and connecter who isn't afraid to ask others to financially support a good cause? Consider serving on our Sponsorship Subcommittee and help us make an even bigger impact in your community.
- Marketing and Outreach: Are you an excellent communicator and writer? Are you passionate about getting others fired up around a grassroots movement? Join our Marketing and Outreach Subcommittee to help us reach more people and elevate the awareness of Alzheimer's disease.
