Together we can make it happen ... a world without Alzheimer's disease.

Our volunteers are passionate, inspired and want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Help out at your local Alzheimer's Association

If you are an individual (teen, adult or senior) or part of a family, team, group of employees or company, please contact your local Alzheimer's Association to see where your skills are needed.

Kathy Wheeler

Kathy began volunteering in the front office of the Alzheimer's Association, Utah Chapter the first of January 2105. Before coming to the chapter, Kathy worked at United Technologies Corporation and retired in 2006 after working there for 33 1/2 years. Most of Kathy's career has been in finance; as a financial analyst at UTC, bookkeeper for Wasatch Clinical Research and treasurer at Hilltop United Methodist Church . For those who are looking for ways to volunteer in their community, Kathy says to "go where your passion is". Kathy also said, " Volunteering for the Alzheimer's Association makes me feel like I am can encourage others who are facing challenges with their loved ones. Before coming here, I was unaware of how many people are facing the daily battle of coping with this dreadful disease".
