Many know the unique challenges of Alzheimer’s, but few know the public health crisis facing America. This powerful documentary illuminates the social and economic consequences for our country unless a medical breakthrough is discovered for this currently incurable disease.

Join us on June 13 to celebrate Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month with a free public screening of the PBS film Alzheimer’s: Every Minute Counts, followed by a discussion with our expert panel on the public health crisis of Alzheimer’s disease in Vermont.
Panel members include:
  • Mike LaMantia, MD, MPH, Director of UVM Center on Aging; Section Head, Geriatric Medicine, Larner College of Medicine
  • Mark Levine, MD, Commissioner of Health, Vermont Department of Health
  • Monica Hutt, Commissioner of the Vermont Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL)
