The Longest Day
Now through Aug. 31
The Longest Day (TLD) refers to the day with the most light, the summer solstice, representing the very long days of caregivers and those living with all forms of dementia. In the weeks and months leading up to the summer solstice, thousands of participants from across the world come together to fight the darkness of Alzheimer’s, through a fundraising activity of their choice. Past events include community car washes, crafting parties, lemonade stands, corn hole tournaments, baked goods sales, corporate dress-down days, parties, card games, garage sales, picnics and more!
