Alzheimer’s & Dementia University is a conference for family caregivers and healthcare professionals. Join the Alzheimer’s Association and guest presenters from around the state to increase your knowledge of Alzheimer’s and enhance your caregiving skills.

Family Caregiver $15 | Healthcare Professional $55
5 Social Work & Nursing CEUs and Physician CMEs approved.

Each University will have lunch provided. Workshop topics are designed to meet the needs of both professional and family caregivers.

CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

CREDIT HOUR STATEMENTS:
Physicians
- CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to sponsor continuing medical education for physicians. The CAMC Institute designates this live activity for a maximum of 5 hours for AMA PRA Category I Credit(s)™ . Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. Nurses - The CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation This live activity has been approved for 5 contact hours (JA0026-20-18-305) (Expiration date is 2 years from the course date). Social Workers - CAMC Health Education and Research Institute is an approved provider of continuing education by the West Virginia Board of Social Work Examiners.
