Our volunteers are passionate, inspired and want to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementia. We have many opportunities, so we hope you find one that meets your needs and fits your schedule.

Community Educator: Deliver community education programs using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias and memory loss as well as information for individuals and families impacted by the disease.

Support Group FacilitatorHelp facilitate support groups that provide emotional, educational and social support to those caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia.

Walk/Special EventsAssist with the planning and execution of fundraisers such as Walk to End Alzheimer’s and The Longest Day. Committee member tasks include recruiting team members, raising revenue, increasing awareness and implementing event activities.

AdvocateHelp improve the quality of life and care for people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families by sharing our message with elected officials at the federal, state and local levels. Communicate with elected officials via petitions, phone calls and other calls-to-action, participate in area events and share your story. Learn more and get involved here

TrialMatch VolunteerFind clinical trials through Alzheimer's Association TrialMatch®. Our free clinical studies matching service generates customized lists of studies based on user-provided information and allows you to see which studies you may qualify for quickly and easily.

Faith Outreach RepresentativeServe as a liaison between the Alzheimer's Association and local faith groups and congregations by sharing information about Alzheimer’s disease, free resources offered through the Alzheimer’s Association, and the many ways to join our cause at local community and education events.

Administrative Volunteer: Assist in the many administrative tasks needed to keep our office running smoothly, including special projects, mailings, collating and copying.
