Workplace Giving

Workplace giving is a simple and effective way for employees to support the Alzheimer's Association mission. Your gift helps fund vital research, programs and services. No matter how small your contribution, your dollars add up to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease.

Learn more about your options:

  • The Greater Indiana Chapter is a member of the Community Health Charities federation, the largest workplace giving campaign devoted to health. If your employer participates in Community Health Charities campaigns, designate your contribution to the Alzheimer's Association.
  • Federal employees can donate to the Alzheimer's Association through the Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). Designate your contribution to the Alzheimer's Association, CFC ID #7004

Corporate Giving Campaigns
Support the Alzheimer's Association through your company's annual corporate giving campaign. It is a convenient way to give your contribution through regular payroll deductions.

United Way
If your workplace participates in the United Way workforce campaign, you can designate your pledge to the Alzheimer's Association through United Way's Donor Choice Program. Simply follow the instructions on your pledge card, or write in our name and address.

Matching Gifts

Participating in your company's matching gift program is a great way to double or triple your donation to the Alzheimer's Association. Ask your human resources department for a matching gift form and mail it to the Chapter address above or you can fax it to 317.582.0669.

Volunteer Time Matching
Your company may make a financial contribution in grants on behalf of the time you spend volunteering with the Greater Indiana Chapter through a volunteer grants program. Contact your company's human resources department for workplace giving opportunities.

Donate your vehicle

We partner with CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services) and the proceeds go to the Alzheimer's Association, supporting those impacted by Alzheimer’s disease while advancing crucial research. Learn more at alz.org/cars.

Planned Giving: Bequests and charitable gift annuities

Bequests and charitable gift annuities (CGAs) are two popular types of planned gifts that can provide for you and your family and also make a lasting contribution to the Alzheimer's Association.

Note: The Alzheimer's Association strongly encourages donors to work with their attorneys and financial professionals to determine which type of planned gift may be most suitable for their individual situation. Chapter staff will be pleased to answer any questions you or your adviser may have.

Bequests - naming the Alzheimer's Association in your will
The following language can be taken to your professional counsel:
"I (Name) of (City, State, ZIP) give, devise and bequeath to the Greater Indiana Chapter of Alzheimer's Disease and Related Disorders Association (Alzheimer's Association) EIN 13-3039601 (insert written amount of gift, percentage of estate or residuary of the estate or description of property) for its unrestricted use and purpose."

Charitable Gift Annuities
The Alzheimer's Association offers charitable gift annuities, which are simple contracts between a donor and a charity (such as the Alzheimer's Association), to pay the donor a fixed amount, usually quarterly, for the rest of his or her life, in exchange for an initial gift of $5,000 or more.

Gift annuities are easy to establish and offer a tax deduction at the time of the initial gift. In addition, a portion of the lifetime payments made to the annuitant may be tax-free. Gift annuities may be established for one or two annuitants and may be funded with cash or appreciated stock.

Gifts of stock
Generous people like you help fight Alzheimer's by fueling the work of the Alzheimer's Association to advance care, support and research. Donating your stock or other securities supports our mission while providing you with potential tax benefits. Learn more about donating stock
