On August 1, 2015 we lost our beloved Sardi's Co-Chair and Co-Founder, Peter Grad. For 23 years, Peter along with his wife, Laurie Burrows Grad, chaired A Night at Sardi's, the extraordinary annual Broadway themed event that has raised concern, awareness and more than $27 million for the Alzheimer's Association.

Peter was also a former television executive, avid golfer and a willing taste tester for all of Laurie's amazing cooking.

In addition to his wife, Laurie, Peter's survivors include his cherished son and daughter-in-law, Nicholas Grad and Carolyn Bernstein; and the source of his abundant joy, grandchildren Lucas and Georgia, who treasured the man they called "Duke." He is also survived by a loving sister, Susan Grad Baerwald; her husband Paul, who was Peter's oldest friend; their children; and brother-in-law, accomplished director James Burrows, and his family. Peter's humor, his abundant love of people and his essential goodness will endure as sweet memories for his family and the multitude of friends who always surrounded him. He will never be forgotten.

His family has set up this memorial tribute page in Peter's honor. If you are so moved, we ask that you make a donation in Peter's memory and to honor his commitment to the Association and A Night at Sardi's. Click here to make a donation.
